work, work, work

Ok so did I ask for all this work? I guess the answer is yes. I'm just checking in with all my blogging buddies out there. I haven't been able to get on here lately because well I've been busy.
I've taken on another part time job, so now I have 2, in addition to my 3 children and very hard working hubby,2 dogs and now 7 cats!! (as in the previous email our mamma cat had 4 babies). Cats for free here in about 2 more weeks by the way... holla if you need a couple :)

I am still subbing at my girls school. I have been in my pre-K daughters classroom for the last 3 days and tomorrow I am subbing for a Kindergarten class. When it was time for me to leave my little one's class today, she had a meltdown. I guess she got a little too comfortable with me being her teacher in there so much this week. It was sad to have to walk away from her screaming, but I was on my way to my second job and I had to get out of there. My second job is as a receptionist/billing/secretary at a Cabinet shop. So this week I've worked 5 days and ya know what... I remember why I like being a stay at home mom!!! Maybe it's because you get to stay home and not have to "plan" things around work. However and this is a biggie- the paycheck is nice and I was so excited when I got my first one a few weeks ago. I told my husband "honey, this is my first check in over 7 years".. I was so excited.

Then this week I also agreed to sign on for one more year as the PTA president at the girls school. Am I glutten or what?? I guess this must be my innerself's way of coping with my littlest not being at home with me this year and now she's about to enter Kindergarten in August.. Time sure flies is one of the truest statements I've ever heard.

That's this mom's quick update in a nutshell. Goodnight to all :-)
